A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Kermanshah, western Iran, without reports of human or material losses.

The IRNA news agency quoted the Iranian Seismological Center as saying that the tremor hit the city of Qasr Shirin and occurred at a depth of 10 km from the surface of the earth.

The day before yesterday, an earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale hit Fars Province, southern Iran.
