At least five civilians were killed and 30 others were injured today in the explosion of a weapons depot in the city of Lawdar in the Abyan governorate, southern Yemen.
A security official told AFP that a weapons store at the bottom of an apartment building exploded in mysterious circumstances in the city of Lawdar in the southern province of Abyan.
The official added: The explosion destroyed the building and damaged nearby buildings, in addition to killing at least five people and wounding more than 30 others.
