An investigation was opened by the prosecution, after two complaints of sexual assault against André Santini, the mayor of Issy-les-Moulineaux (Hauts-de-Seine).
Three days ago, Le Monde revealed that two complaints had been filed against the city council by two employees of the town hall for "sexual assault" and "sexual and moral harassment".
These two complaints against the 81-year-old elected official were filed last Friday before the Nanterre prosecutor's office.
They would have been filed, according to Le Monde, by his former chief of staff and a former bailiff, the facts dating from 2021 and 2022.
