A young suspect who distributed dozens of intimate videos of women and girls without their knowledge

The young man is suspected of impersonating a woman in order to enter groups where women distribute intimate videos - and distributed them on various apps, including Telegram.

To date, eight suspects in connection with the distribution of the videos have been arrested and detained, and testimonies have been collected from dozens of women, including 15 girls.

Yesterday (Monday), the Israel Police arrested a young man on suspicion of distributing dozens of intimate videos of girls and women in various applications without their permission and knowledge.

The young man is suspected of impersonating a woman in order to enter groups in which such videos are distributed.

Unit 105, the national headquarters for child protection in the Lahav 433 network, has been conducting an investigation into the young man in recent months, on suspicion of distributing the videos.

The investigation revealed that the suspect opened a fictitious account while identifying as a woman, and became a member of several groups in which Israeli women and girls share their sexual videos.

It was also revealed that the suspect had sexual correspondence with a number of women and girls, and received sexual videos of them.

Following the video launch, the young man is suspected of distributing the iTunes videos on various apps, including Telegram.

To date, as part of the investigation, eight suspects have been detained and arrested for involvement in the commission of the offenses, and testimonies have been collected from dozens of victims, 15 of whom are girls.

The suspect's detention was extended today in the Magistrate's Court in Rishon Lezion until July 7.
