The quantity of wheat delivered in Quneitra Governorate to date has reached 398 tons through the centers of Sweis and Khan Arnabah.
The Governor of Quneitra, Abdel Halim Awad, explained during his briefing on the progress of the wheat crop delivery operations by farmers in the Khan Arnabeh Feed Center, the need to organize the work mechanism to reach the best results and to deliver the entire crop from farmers directly, referring to the procedures and facilities taken to facilitate the process of delivering wheat material from the field to Receiving centers.
He stressed the commitment to implement the instructions regulating the receipt of the crop by the government not to reject any car loaded with wheat, regardless of the percentage of impurities and crimes, and to treat it according to the instructions on this subject.
In turn, the Director of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform in Quneitra, Engineer Ahmed Deeb, spoke in a statement to SANA reporter about the delay in harvesting operations that are carried out manually in most of the province, in addition to the small agricultural holdings of farmers, which caused the low rates of delivery.
