An investigation was opened on Tuesday July 5 by the Nanterre prosecutor's office after the complaint of two men against the mayor of Issy-les-Moulineaux (Hauts-de-Seine) André Santini for sexual assault and sexual and moral harassment, learned the AFP from a source close to the file, confirmed by the prosecution.
The two complaints were filed on Friday by two employees of the town hall, a former chief of staff of André Santini and a former bailiff, who accuse the 81-year-old elected official of facts dating in particular from 2021 and 2022. André Santini disputes the facts, according to his lawyer, Me Marc Bellanger.
