For the second day in a row, the work of the Fourth Conference of Syrian Researchers at Home and Expatriate for 2022 under the title (Towards the Knowledge Economy.. The Role of Syrian Researchers in the Homeland and Expatriate) continued at Al-Assad National Library in Damascus.
The participants in the conference, which is organized by the Higher Authority for Scientific Research in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, the Syrian Virtual University and the Arab School of Science and Technology, will review over three sessions a set of studies and research on the latest uses of biotechnology and nanotechnology in the medical, environmental and agricultural fields, and the most prominent challenges facing its application.
The work of the conference was launched yesterday under the objectives of creating effective research and applied partnerships between researchers at home and abroad, and the transfer and settlement of advanced technology and intellectual property policies in Syria.
The conference will be attended by Syrian researchers from inside the country and Syrian expatriates in France, Iran, India, the Russian Federation, Germany, Japan, China, the United States of America, Britain, Spain, Switzerland, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Sweden.
It is noteworthy that the Supreme Commission for Scientific Research organized the first conference for Syrian researchers at home and abroad in 2019.
