According to Marco Buschmann, the new corona strategy should be in place "this month".
Without a trio of restrictions, one of which Karl Lauterbach does not want to exclude.
Berlin – The FDP wanted to wait for the Corona report from the expert council before discussing new pandemic measures.
The 160-page evaluation paper has been available since Friday (July 1).
The question remains whether politicians are really smarter after seeing the report.
The interpretations of the document are entirely different.
The satirical magazine

headlined: "Is it magic?
Opponents and proponents of measures see themselves completely confirmed by the Corona expert council.
SPD and Greens see confirmation of the effectiveness of the measures, the FDP spoke of a "painful report" on

from IPPEN.MEDIA.
For Federal Vice Wolfgang Kubicki, consequences such as the dismissal of RKI boss Lothar Wieler are actually necessary.
FDP Minister of Justice Marco Buschmann was more reserved.
The cabinet member wants to present a strategy for the Corona autumn “this month”.
Corona autumn: Buschmann rules out three restrictions
Buschmann told the
world on Sunday
that it was about "adapted behavior".
That means: “If the danger decreases, then you have to withdraw the measures.
If the danger increases, then you have to deal with it appropriately”.
The minister ruled out three measures: "From what we know, in my view,
lockdowns
,
school closures
and
curfews
are no longer proportionate today." Such measures could only be taken, if at all, in the early stages of a pandemic.
“Now we are in the third year.
And if we know today that these measures have a very poor cost-benefit profile, then we should say goodbye to them once and for all."
Corona measures: Buschmann and Lauterbach shape the autumn strategy
According to Buschmann, measures such as the obligation to wear masks indoors are conceivable.
It has "a very good cost-benefit ratio" - provided it is worn correctly, as the virologist Hendrik Streeck noted in the
Merkur
interview.
"We will now also have to talk about possible access restrictions due to 2G or 3G rules".
He is personally skeptical, "but we will now discuss it carefully".
“We” are probably primarily Buschmann and Minister of Health Karl Lauterbach (SPD).
In most areas, the two traffic light men are in line.
However, Lauterbach does not want to completely rule out school closures: "I think it is very, very unlikely," said the minister on Sunday evening at "Anne Will".
"You would be the last resort.
But categorically excluding them, I would be careful because: We don't know which (virus) variants are coming." Chancellor Olaf Scholz said on Sunday in the ARD summer interview: "There shouldn't be any more school closures."
