Once upon a time, a little girl came all the way from Canada with a heart to learn Chinese well and write Chinese stories, and enrolled in Chunyang Primary School of Hong Kong Taoist Federation.
In just one year, the little girl has gone from "not literate" to "beautiful pen", and even led 62 children from three places to create two science fiction novels collectively.
What kind of interesting things are there in the middle?
What "magic" did Chunyang Primary School cast to help her realize her dream?

This little girl is Gong Zhicheng, a fifth-grade student of Chunyang Primary School of the Hong Kong Taoist Federation.
When he first arrived at Chunyang Elementary School, although Zhicheng was a fourth-grade student, his Chinese proficiency was not as good as that of his younger siblings in the first grade, and he often needed instant Chinese-English translation from the teacher to barely understand.
In view of this, Principal Liang Meiling of Chunyang Primary School adhered to the teaching philosophy of "Teaching students according to their aptitude, and there is no class". In addition to constantly taking care of Zhicheng's learning needs and providing timely support, he also encouraged Zhicheng to try boldly and pursue his dreams bravely.
At this moment, the teachers discovered Zhicheng's talent in painting and creation in both Chinese and English, so the teachers encouraged Zhicheng not to limit himself to the framework of books, but to develop multiple intelligences in addition to improving his academic performance.
With the support of the teachers, Zhicheng began to try to create Chinese stories. The teachers also used their after-school time to help her correct the content of the stories and teach Zhicheng the skills of writing stories.
With the care of the principal and the help of the teacher, Zhicheng became more and more confident.
In the summer of 2021, she, together with 25 students from Chunyang Elementary School and children from Canada and China, completed 2 science fiction novels after 6 weeks of collective creation - the Chinese book "SPYS of Star Superman Academy" Planetary Science Exchange Group" and the English book "Supernova Pandemic".
The Chinese book has a total of 170 pages and is edited by filmmaker Mr. Elton Huo as a consultant; the English book has a total of 250 pages and is edited by the Canadian writer Mr. Timothy Forner.
We are delighted that in early 2022, two science fiction novels were officially published by the Canadian publisher Monster Egg Production Company.
The study and life in Chunyang Primary School not only taught the students to pursue their dreams bravely, but also taught them to have empathy.
25 students from Chunyang Primary School of Hong Kong Taoist Federation became representatives of fundraising activities. They hoped to use their books to do something meaningful for the society, so they sold these 2 science fiction novels for charity. Raise funds for the "Nursery Action" charity to help subdivided housing households.
In addition, it also promotes their creativity and caring messages, and encourages children in subdivided housing to create and take a big step towards their dreams.
