Champagne at 1,200 and cigars at NIS 700 per unit: the gifts the Netanyahu couple received
Hadas Klein, Milchen's personal assistant, testified in the 1000 case about the gifts the businessman gave to the Netanyahu couple, such as Dom Perignon champagnes, and Siglo and Kohiba cigars - which, due to their high price, are bought mainly in Cuba.

Siglo 5 and 6 cigars, Kohiba 54-56, and Dom Perignon and Moat Pink champagnes - these are the gifts that Sher and Benjamin Netanyahu received from Arnon Milchen and James Packer, according to the testimony of Milchin's personal assistant, Hadas Klein, in case 1000 (The affair of the gifts).
Klein testified this morning (Tuesday) during the evidentiary hearing in the 1000 case and told about the relationship between Packer, Milchen and the former prime minister.
During her testimony, Klein often referred to the gifts that were required to be brought to the Netanyahu couple, which were usually presented by Klein and Milchin's driver, Yonatan Hasson.
"They would always bring the champagne in a collar, a suitcase with a lot of ice, a six that you could drink," Klein said.
Klein said that she then met the importer of the champagnes, and that she was able to get them cheaper, because she bought large quantities.
"It significantly reduced our price to NIS 730 per bottle instead of NIS 1,200."

Klein said that at one point Milchin asked them to start buying a pink slow-moving champagne, because his wife, Amna, also likes to drink it.
"I think we got them for 200 and something instead of 400 and something shekels because we bought quantities."
Klein then talked about the cigarettes given to Benjamin Netanyahu.
"He asked for Siglo 5 or 6, and Kohiba 54-56."
The price of Siglo-type cigars is between NIS 360-400 per unit, and Kohiva-type cigars about NIS 700-760 per unit, according to the "Smoker" store.
Klein said that Netanyahu demanded these cigars specifically.
"One time in Beit Yanai I was sitting outside. Mr. Netanyahu came to me with a cigar clasp he had taken down, a rolled wire and he told me this is the kind he wanted. I kept the wire in my wallet, when I went to Cuba I looked for it because it was hard to get."

Klein also said that she tried to find a solution to the prices of expensive cigars, and found a store in Herzliya called "The Cabinet" where they sold simpler and unbranded cigars.
She said that "for the first time it worked," but later said that Netanyahu refused to accept these cigarettes, and demanded the branded ones.
She added that they would give Netanyahu a "quantro" type liqueur, because he would like to dip the cigars in the liqueur.
Klein said that on one occasion they received a phone call from Benjamin Netanyahu demanding the liqueur, but then they had the stock.
She said they found a store in Beit Yanai that is open on Friday and drove from there to Caesarea to get him the liqueur.
Klein also said that this was not the only case of this kind and sometimes they even had to travel as far as Jerusalem and from there to Caesarea.
