  • Two weeks after the legislative elections, the government reshuffle took place on Monday with, in the process, a first Council of Ministers. 

  • This Wednesday, the Prime Minister will deliver her general policy speech to the Assembly but she has not planned to ask for a vote of confidence. 

  • In response, the Insoumis announced that they would immediately file a motion of censure. 

  • A meeting on purchasing power is scheduled for this morning, before a presentation of the bill on the subject in the Council of Ministers this Thursday.

Attal reacts to reshuffle

“The important thing is to have ministers at their post (…) who can seek to implement the policy of the President of the Republic” but also to “convince parliamentarians to adopt the texts which constitute the main priority of the French”, pleads Gabriel Attal on RTL, about the reshuffle unveiled on Monday.
