"Pablo" has had some eventful days.
The little puppy had disappeared after a burglary.
Now there is a provisional happy ending.
Bochum – A puppy has been keeping the police in Bochum busy for days.
"Pablo", that's the name of the little four-legged friend, was first picked up by the police without an owner, disappeared two days later during a burglary and has now been found again.
The case raises many mysteries.
Bochum: Puppy "Pablo" is alone on the side of the road - the police intervene
The little dog first caught the attention of the police last Friday (July 1), as reported by 24RHEIN.
He was standing alone on the corner of Lünsender Strasse and An den Lothen in Bochum.
There was no sign of a master or mistress.
The patrol car crew picked up the puppy and took it to the police station.
There the little four-legged friend was first given a few strokes and given the name "Anton".
Shortly thereafter, he was taken to an animal shelter.

After that, the story gets really weird.
In the meantime it turned out that "Anton" is actually called "Pablo" and the puppy has since been picked up by its owners.
He had previously escaped from his family home.
But on the night of July 3 (Sunday) there was a burglary in the home of "Pablo" and his family.
Between 1:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m., one or more strangers apparently broke into the apartment on “In den Lothen” street.
The result: Pablo was gone again.
It is still unclear whether he was kidnapped by the perpetrators or used the burglary to escape again.
Bochum: "Pablo" is back – but what has happened since the burglary?
Now "Pablo" is back.
He was spotted in downtown Bochum on Tuesday (July 5).
After a tip from a witness, the police went in search of the puppy and met a man who had "Pablo" with him.
Could it even be the burglar?
According to the police, this is still unclear.
"We cannot currently say whether the man is a possible suspect or whether he is just a witness," said the Bochum police on Tuesday afternoon.
“Pablo” is fine though.
The police have started further investigations.
Too bad "Pablo" can't testify.
The pup could certainly shed some light on this mysterious case.
Incidentally, the animal shelter Dellbrück in Cologne is also currently in the hustle and bustle of puppies.
Nine German Shepherd puppies rescued from poor care were recently taken in there.
