Arnon Milchen's former assistant will testify in the gift case, in which the former prime minister is accused of fraud and breach of trust • Klein is a key witness in the case and is supposed to lay the evidentiary infrastructure, which will be completed through additional witnesses

Hadas Klein, Arnon Milchen's former assistant, will testify today (Tuesday) in the 1000 case - the gift case, in which Benjamin Netanyahu is accused of fraud and breach of trust.

According to the indictment, Milchen handed the Netanyahu couple various gifts in the form of champagne, cigars and valuable jewelry.

Klein is a key witness in the case and is supposed to lay the evidentiary infrastructure of the case, which will be completed through additional witnesses who will testify about the subject of the gifts from different angles.

Klein is the first witness from the second group of witnesses linked to the 1000 case. The role of this group is to reveal the supply line of gifts transferred from Milchen at the request of the Netanyahu couple.

It will be recalled that last Sukkot, Klein contacted the authorities claiming that she had information about three other pieces of jewelry that Sarah Netanyahu allegedly received.

Since the trial had already begun, the jewels in question were not added to the indictment, but the court approved the addition of three witnesses who were not written in the original indictment - one of whom is Milchen's daughter.

It means an evidential reinforcement of the gift story, on which Klein will expand.
