Large fire brigade in Tölzer Marktstraße on Tuesday afternoon: a fire in a hotel kitchen was reported.

Luckily everything went smoothly.

Bad Tölz – Numerous sirens could be heard on Tuesday around 12.30 p.m. in the center of Tölz.

Several fire engines were on their way to historic Marktstrasse.

There they found their way among the numerous passers-by.

Gas stove fire: Koch reacts exactly right

A fire was reported in the kitchen of a hotel.

"There was a fire on the gas stove," reported district fire chief Thomas Fuchsgruber.

There may have been a leak.

The gas then ignited on the hot stove.

The cook reacted well and immediately threw a fire blanket over the flames.

"That's basically how he put out the fire.

Then he switched on the ventilation and left," said the district fire chief.

Four people were in the kitchen at the time of the fire

For the emergency services, there was only one patrol and minor post-extinguishing work.

The four people who were in the kitchen at the time of the fire were inspected by the emergency services.

"So far, however, they have not complained about any complaints," says Fuchsgruber.

Four fire brigades alerted, plus police and rescue services

Since the location of the fire was a hotel and it is also in the historic Marktstraße, an extensive alarm was raised.

In addition to the Tölz firefighters, forces from the Wehrmacht from Wackersberg, Gaißach and Lenggries were deployed.

In addition, the district fire inspection was on site and the support group local operations manager.

Then there were the police and the BRK rescue service.
