Hurricane Bonnie, the third in the Pacific this season, strengthened to category 3 on Tuesday, reported the National Water Commission in Mexico (Conagua).
According to Conagua, Bonnie threatens heavy rains for the states of Colima, Guerrero, Jalisco and Michoacán.
