The Lenggrieser municipal council meeting again dealt with the development plan for the planned nursing home.

Local residents have objected again.

Lenggries – According to cost estimates, the municipality of Lenggrieser will have to invest 21.5 million euros in the new building of the nursing home on Karwendelstraße (we reported).

However, the most recent municipal council meeting was not just about finances, but also about the development plan for the major project.

The documents have already been made public twice, and a third time will now follow.

Access changed after local residents' criticism

After the first interpretation, there had definitely been major changes.

In order to take into account the concerns of local residents, the structure was shifted a little further to the south.

There were also changes to access for delivery traffic.

This should no longer approach the supply yard via Juifenstraße, but via a passage from Demmeljochstraße, which was originally only planned as a construction site access (we reported).

By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Bad Tölz newsletter.

Development via Demmeljochstraße is more favorable in terms of traffic

But for some residents, that doesn't go far enough.

Even during the second interpretation of the plans, there was a letter from their lawyer for the community.

The change in the access road is not sufficient, it is said.

It is not clear why the entire delivery traffic cannot be made from Karwendelstraße.

The latter makes no sense, stressed Ronny Bousseljot, head of the building authority, because it would affect the design of the green areas and the quality of life for the residents.

In addition, the connection via Demmeljochstraße represents a better connection to the B 13, according to the head of the building authority.

Mayor: "We build this for our citizens, not for the local government."

Roman Haehl (Greens) was annoyed by the residents' objections.

He understands that a large construction project like this could raise concerns.

"And I think it's okay if you bring up your concerns at the beginning.

But at some point you have to make a point. ”It is about the common good here.

This was also emphasized by Mayor Stefan Klaffenbacher (FWG).

"We're building this for our citizens, not for the local government."

It was clear to local residents that the meadow would be used for social purposes

Eberhard Pichler (FWG) could only agree.

When the barracks area was initially considered as a location, it was said that senior citizens should not be deported there.

"Now the people in town are saying that the old people shouldn't live there." Especially since, added Anton Leeb (CSU), "it was always clear that the meadow there would be used for social purposes".

Residents would therefore have received the building site at a reduced price from the municipality.

"And now they're making such a fuss," Leeb said.

Municipality submits sound insulation report

The noise protection report, which was prepared at the request of the responsible department in the district office, showed that the residents at least do not have to expect excessive noise pollution.

The permissible values are complied with, "in some cases significantly below," said Bousseljot.

The report only showed slight exceedances in the night-time values in the area of the parking lot on Karwendelstraße - however, the exceedances only exist on paper.

"We assumed that the shift change would take place at 6 a.m.," said the head of the building authority.

With that, he and the associated traffic would still have fallen into the nighttime.

“The shift actually starts at 6:30 a.m.

And that’s where the daily values apply.”

The third and presumably last interpretation of the development plan is now taking place before the statute resolution is due.
