A new record profit for Germany and a total of 18 millionaires.
This is the lottery balance sheet for NRW in the first half of 2022.
Münster – Winning millions is a dream of millions of lottery players all over Germany every week.
In North Rhine-Westphalia, this dream has come true 18 times so far in 2022.
Once even with a new German record profit of more than 110 million euros.
Lotto: German record win went to NRW in 2022 – more than 110 million euros
After the first six Lotto months in 2022, Westlotto took stock for NRW.
As a result, there have been 18 lotto millions won so far this year, in North Rhine-Westphalia alone.
A sum that was cracked in May puts everything in the shade.
The Eurojackpot was about 110,213,537.30 euros on May 20th, i.e. more than 110 million.
And this new German record profit went to NRW thanks to an Internet tip.
"For the first time, the magic threshold of 100 million euros was exceeded," Westlotto said in retrospect.

But other lottery players in NRW also had reason to be happy.
With the draws 6aus49, Eurojackpot, Glücksspirale or the additional lottery Spiel 77, 17 more tipsters were able to win millions.
A total of 132 lottery players were able to celebrate a so-called "big win" (individual wins over 100,000 euros).
Most of these big winners come from the Rhineland and Ruhr area (28 each).

So far in 2022, tipsters from Krefeld have been particularly lucky.
With nine major wins so far, Krefeld is number one in NRW among the districts and independent cities.
Cologne, the largest city in North Rhine-Westphalia, follows in second place.
There were seven wins over 100,000 euros.
There were also six major prizes each in Bonn, in the Recklinghausen district and in the Rhein-Erft district.
