A 66-year-old man from Munich put himself and others in danger on Monday morning on the Dorfen-Erding state road for no reason.
Erding – According to the police, he caused an avoidable accident around 10.30 a.m. near Ammersdorf (Stadt Erding).
At the end of a right-hand bend, he wanted to overtake a truck.
The section of the route is confusing, there is a ban on overtaking.
The caddy driver was promptly met by a Lengdorfer (38) at the wheel of a Seat Ibiza.
Although he still tried to dodge, VW and Seat collided.
The former also rammed the truck. Miraculously, no one was injured.
However, the material damage is considerable at 25,000 euros.
Erding's deputy police chief Harald Pataschitsch speaks of "gross misconduct".
