The Russian Investigative Committee announced that it will ask the Russian National Guard for information about the communication of OSCE monitors with Ukrainian intelligence.
Novosti news agency quoted the commission as saying in a statement today: It will "give the legal assessment of people involved in illegal intelligence activities."
The Russian National Guard had recently announced that documents of the OSCE observer mission had been found in the home of the former head of the Ukrainian Security Service Department in Kherson Province, General Vyacheslav Savchenko, stressing that these documents indicate the observers' cooperation with the Ukrainian intelligence.
