A person has laid a severed head in front of the Bonn district court.
A suspect has been arrested.

The severed head found in front of the Bonn district court on Tuesday belongs to a man who died of natural causes.
This was the result of the forensic examination of the 44-year-old's body, the Bonn police said on Wednesday.
The rest of the dead man's body was also discovered on Tuesday a good kilometer away near the banks of the Rhine on the edge of a park.
After the autopsy, the police said the detachment of the head from the rest of the body was not the cause of death.
The 44-year-old had already died of natural causes as a result of a serious illness.
The suspect was arrested in the immediate vicinity of the regional court.
According to police, he has not yet commented on the allegations.

The 38-year-old man is in custody on suspicion of disturbing the peace of the dead.

After the discovery of a severed human head in front of the district court in Bonn, the police there provided further information.
According to this, officials at the control center were informed by witnesses around 5:35 p.m. that “a human head would be lying in front of the Bonn courthouse on Wilhelmstrasse”.
Bonn police forces arrived at the district court a little later and were able to confirm the testimony.
The police officers then arrested a suspect “in the immediate vicinity”.
