The Consumer Cooperative Society for workers in the education sector was inaugurated today in the city of Aleppo in its new look in the Al-Gamiliya neighborhood, and it includes consumer goods, food, stationery, detergents, electrical appliances and home furnishings.
The director of Aleppo Education, Eng. Mustafa Abdel-Ghani, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the cooperative society will contribute to securing the needs of the employees in the educational institution through selling at cost only, pointing out that the directorate, in cooperation with the association, will allocate in its hall in the future an exhibition for the products of vocational education workshops to be sold at competitive prices according to the executive instructions Production Law No. 38.
For his part, Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, Zakaria Qara Muhammad, indicated that the Association continues to sell electrical household appliances and oil in installments to teachers, pointing out that the Board of Directors plans to open a department to sell school bags, stationery, and student and student supplies at cost and installment prices for teachers.
