"The perfect dinner" in Augsburg: A week full of highlights for Theresa

As a dancer in the carnival guard you are used to performing in front of an audience.

So how did it go in front of the camera?

Theresa:

The first evening and the second, when it was my turn to cook, were really bad.

I was super excited.

I could barely get a sentence out and I just wasn't myself. Once I was done cooking, the tension melted away.

I've totally changed.

I finally felt comfortable and was able to really enjoy the rest of the week.

The whole week was one highlight anyway.

Were the other candidates also a highlight or was there gossip?

Theresa:

My colleagues were just great.

We got along really well.

The round was funny, nice and we always had something to laugh and talk about.

It was never uncomfortable.

We got along so well that we're still in contact.

We will definitely see each other again after the show.

So was the participation a complete success?

Theresa:

Yes, I've always wanted to take part in the "perfect dinner".

I watch the show regularly and I was drawn to the challenge.

I wanted to grow from it.

Is there anything you would like to say about your menu?

Theresa:

I've actually tasted it before.

That was at Christmas. It had worked out quite well, so I decided to do it again.

Before that I got a lot of tips.

In the end, as the name suggests, it became "ebbes guads".

So something good.

Let's stick to something good.

What went well this week and what didn't?

Theresa:

The best thing was the cohesion in the group.

Happiness has always been our priority.

The TV crew was great too.

After the five days I even missed her.

My own cooking day was less good.

It was all a little chaotic.

I didn't succeed in everything.

Maybe because I was so nervous.

If I were to do it again, I would stress less and maybe adjust the menu again.

Hostess Theresa (M.) is happy to have made her day.

The desserts are plastered.

Now day 3 can come.

"The perfect dinner" in Augsburg: The next TV format is already on the agenda for Theresa

If you miss the camera crew, was it not a problem for you to be filmed all the time?

Theresa:

When cooking, it was a bit strange.

I often forgot to explain my work steps and to talk while cooking.

You have to think about so many things at the same time.

It was really difficult at times.

Being filmed while eating was only weird at first.

You had to be careful not to do anything wrong.

But it became more natural every day.

In the end I had already partially forgotten the cameras.

Now you're used to being in front of the camera.

Is there another TV format that would appeal to you?

Theresa:

I will never forget my experiences with the television crew.

It was an experience of a lifetime.

If I were to be in front of the camera again, it would be for Guido Maria Kretschmer and his VOX format “Shopping Queen”.

It would be great if that worked one day.
