Two new players for the WWK Volleys: Brazilians Vanole and Pole Borris are moving to Lake Ammer

Herrsching - The WWK Volleys from Herrsching are coming up with a novelty in the coming season.

For the first time, the Bundesliga volleyball team will have a Brazilian in their ranks. 

The Ammersee team signed Thiago Vanole.

The 28-year-old outside attacker comes from the Spanish first division club CV Manacor.

There Vanole shone in the last three years, especially as a top server.

"I'm looking forward to Herrsching and I'm really excited," said Vanole, who promised to do his best for his new club.

In addition, the WWK Volleys brought Maciej Borris to the Ammersee.

The 27-year-old Pole was recently one of the best blockers in the Greek league for the AONS Milon team.

"I've heard a lot of good things about the atmosphere at Herrsching and I can't wait to start in the very strong German league," says the 2.02 meter tall middle blocker.

In the meantime, it is already clear against whom and when the WWK Volleys will start their ninth season in the volleyball league.

It starts on October 8th with a home game against the Powervolleys Düren. A week later, the team of new coach Thomas Ranner plays at VC Olympia Berlin, who is playing in the Bundesliga again this season.

Before and after that there are two appearances in the CEV Cup.

On 12.10 the Herrschinger are away and on 19.10.

at home on international assignments.

However, the opponent of the WWK Volleys must first be played in two rounds beforehand.
