British government shake-up:
Health Minister Sajid Javid and Finance Minister Rishi Sonak announced their resignation tonight (Tuesday) apparently due to a crisis of confidence in Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
"I spoke with the prime minister to submit my resignation. It has been a tremendous privilege to serve in this position, but I am sorry I can no longer continue with a good conscience," Javid wrote tonight.

In the letter, the (former) senior appointed a number of successes but the reason for his resignation was a crisis of confidence in Johnson which included a partisan vote on the issue last month.
"I have lost faith in you," he wrote after detailing that he expected modesty from the British leader after surviving the no-confidence vote in his government, a move that included conservatives from his party.
"A vote of no confidence has shown that many of our colleagues agree. It was a moment of modesty and a new direction. It is unfortunate to say that the situation will not change under your leadership. I have lost faith in you."
Minutes later, Finance Minister Rishi Sonak, 42, also announced his resignation.
"The public rightly expects the government to be conducted in a proper, competent and serious manner. I recognize that this may be my last ministerial role, but I believe it is appropriate to fight these standards and that is why I am resigning," he wrote.

Sonak noted in the resignation announcement that the series of recent affair that has tarnished Johnson's credibility as prime minister - from the Prati Gate affair (violations of corona laws during closures in Downing 10 and Johnson's rendering attempts) to the latest affair in which a party official was revealed - a member Parliament Chris Fincher - Appointed deputy head of parliamentary discipline despite harsh allegations against him in the area of sexual harassment.
The resignation of both came almost immediately after Johnson admitted he was not honest enough and tried to hide the fact that he appointed Fincher despite his troubled past, after a full week in which Johnson tried to be naive as if he did not know the allegations against Fincher.
The resignation of the two ministers from Johnson's cabinet - that is, his senior ministerial ranks - is a dramatic blow to Johnson, who survived a party-wide vote of confidence less than a month ago.
Especially the blow is from Sonak, as he is the most senior figure after the prime minister.
In the opinion of many, this time Johnson may have no choice and may have to re-seek the trust of the people or even move the stick to something else, especially if there are more resignations within the government.
Another senior Johnson administration official told Sky News: "This is the end of the ceremony. When you lose the finance and health minister, it's over," referring to the future of Johnson's rule, or at least the current term.
It is estimated that the next 24 hours will be dramatic and may even be Johnson's last as prime minister
. It all depends on what the other cabinet members decide (senior ministerial level).
In any case, the non-appointment of a finance minister tomorrow could lead to a severe shock in the British markets, especially at a time that is particularly sensitive to the British economy.
