After the series of scandals that have marred the British government, the Ministers of Health and Finance have indicated that they no longer "trust" Boris Johnson to lead the country.

British Health Minister Sajid Javid announced his resignation on Tuesday, saying he no longer had confidence in Prime Minister Boris Johnson after a series of scandals tainted the government.

In his resignation letter posted on Twitter, he says it

"is clear to me that the situation is not going to change under your leadership - and therefore you have lost my trust".

In the process, British Finance Minister Rishi Sunak also announced his resignation

"The public rightfully expects the government to be conducted in a competent and serious manner"

, he said in a resignation letter also posted on Twitter.

Series of sex scandals

As social conflicts multiply in the country due to soaring prices, Boris Johnson had to manage - after the "partygate", a new affair in his majority: the resignation of a member of his government after accusations of touching.

In a resignation letter dated Thursday, deputy chief 'whip' Chris Pincher, who is in charge of parliamentary discipline for Tory MPs, admitted he had

'drank way too much'

and apologized for

'covering himself in shame, (him) and others".

According to several British media, the 52-year-old elected official touched two men on Wednesday evening - including an MP, according to Sky News - in front of witnesses in a private London club, the Carlton Club,

The recent spate of sexual affairs within the ruling party for 12 years is becoming embarrassing.

An unnamed MP suspected of rape was arrested and then released on bail in mid-May, another resigned in April for watching pornography in the House on his mobile phone in April, and a former MP was convicted in May to 18 months in prison for the sexual assault of a 15-year-old boy.

The departure of the latter two had caused partial legislative elections and heavy defeats for the Conservatives, followed by the departure of party president Oliver Dowden.
