Prince George clearly inherited the height gene from his parents.

At the age of nine he soon caught up with his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II in terms of length.

For experts, that means he could one day become Britain's greatest king.

LONDON – At 1.61 meters tall, Queen Elizabeth II (96) is often towered over by her family members and the people she meets.

So that she can be seen from afar, the monarch tactically opted for colorful outfits with matching hats.

Blessed with a sharp mind, the regent has been a talking point for over 70 years.

With Prince Philip (99, †2021), who brought a stately 1.82 meter body length into the marriage and the gene pool of their four children, the mix was perfect.

Prince Charles (73) is not a giant at 1.77 meters, but his two sons with Prince Harry (37) 1.86 and Prince Williams (40) 1.92 meters clearly tower over the other royals.

Prince William's wife Kate Middleton (40) joins the classic model dimensions with a body length of 1.75 meters.

When the three children of the Cambridges recently entered the balcony of Buckingham Palace alongside the regent at the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's throne at the Trooping the Color Parade, it became obvious: Prince George (8) is up to a few centimetres , almost nine years old, as tall as his great-grandmother.

When William and Kate's eldest child turns nine on June 22, he will likely catch up with the Queen.

Royal fans discuss Prince George's body length at the throne jubilee

The topic had been opened up among Royal fans since the balcony appearance.

One fan wrote: "I bet Prince George will be at least 1.80 meters tall!" Another pointed out: "He's almost as tall as Her Majesty now".

However, Queen Elizabeth II is not the smallest regent, the record is held by Queen Victoria (81, † 1901) at 1.49 meters, Her Majesty's great-great-grandmother.

However, the height record in the history of British rulers is not held by Prince William, but by Edward IV (40, † 1483).

Henry VIII's grandfather measured a gigantic 194 centimeters for his time.

While William narrowly missed the record, Prince George could be the next contender.

Much more important: The little royal has his heart in the right place and is already selling cakes for a good cause.

According to the method of the Keck School of Medicine in California, add five inches (12.7 centimeters) to the child's mother's height.

Count the height of the father and divide the total by two.

According to this, Prince George's body length should be 190 centimeters when fully grown.

But in practice he can easily break the record.
