Stefan Mross was given a great honor at "Always Sundays": The hit star welcomed Olaf Malolepski and was allowed to try on his original flippers jacket.
However, the 46-year-old moderator could not help but make a sharp-tongued comment on this occasion.
Rust - Die Flippers have been a thing of the past since 2011, but at least musically the hit band is currently experiencing a small comeback - also thanks to Olaf Malolepski, who is still on stage.
This time the 76-year-old singer went to "Always Sundays" (all news about the hit show), for which he dressed up extra: he brought an original flippers jacket to Stefan Mross' Sunday show, which the 46-year-old brought with him Moderator absolutely wanted to try it on himself.

On July 3rd, there was a small piece of German Schlager history to admire on "Always Sundays" (all broadcast dates of the current season): During his performance, Olaf Malolepski, who was part of the Flippers from 1967 until the band broke up in 2011, wore a bright red, shimmering, suit jacket trimmed with sequins.
"This is the original Flippers jacket from 2009, 40 years of Die Flippers," reveals the 76-year-old Stefan Mross after his performance.

The moderator of “Always Again on Sundays” seemed to have had an eye on the chic piece of clothing:
“May I try it on?
I just want to wear a flippers jacket," Stefan Mross revealed to his "Always Again on Sundays" guest, who immediately took off the good piece and held it out to the moderator.
He took the jacket, sniffed it briefly and said: "It also smells a bit older."
Nevertheless, of course, he tried it on and lo and behold: it fit like a glove!

Olaf Malolepski was not impressed by Stefan Mross' small, probably not malicious, side swipe.
No wonder: Things are going really well for the pop star at the moment, because an ancient hit by the Flippers is currently going really viral.
"That's where the devil goes," said the 76-year-old, pleased that old Flippers songs are currently delighting the masses again at the Ballermann and even at festivals.
It goes without saying that he then performed one of these hits for the "Immer wieder Sundays" audience.

While those present enthusiastically clapped and sang along, there were again scenes in "Always Sundays" that were extensively discussed on the Internet: An interactive viewer survey on the topic of extraterrestrials caused ridicule not only for Stefan Mross, but also on the Internet.
