Thousands of Palestinians demonstrated today in the city of Jenin in the West Bank, condemning the murder committed by the Israeli occupation forces today against the young Rafiq Ghannam and all the ongoing crimes of the occupation against the Palestinian people.
Wafa news agency reported that the demonstration started in front of the Great Mosque in the town of Jaba, south of Jenin, and roamed its streets towards the cemetery of the martyrs, as a symbolic funeral for the martyr Ghannam, during which the Palestinians chanted slogans condemning his execution by the occupation forces and the detention of his body.
The demonstrators called on the international community to assume its responsibilities, provide international protection for the Palestinian people, and take decisive measures to stop the attacks and crimes of the occupation against them and hold them accountable.
Today, the occupation forces stormed the town of Jaba' and shot a group of Palestinians in the town, killing Rafiq Ghannam, 20, and wounding another.
