"Please give me an inverted from the inverted world and pasta a la demogorgon."
Sounds appetizing to you?
If so, you will probably want to visit a new cafe in Japan, which was inspired by the hit series "Strange Things" and offers dishes in the spirit of Netflix's successful horror brand.
This is actually a pop-up restaurant that was launched this week in collaboration with the streaming giant in the Shibuya district of Japan, in one of the branches of the local Pronto coffee chain.
The place will be open to the general public until September 9, and it is hoped that by then Japan will open its gates to tourists completely.
Anyway, on the weird retro menu you can find things like roast beef pasta that is suspiciously reminiscent of the terrifying demagogue monster (good luck with finishing everything off the plate without getting lifelong trauma);
"Mocha from the Dark Side" with a particularly disturbing straw;
"Elban's first burger" (as well as her favorite Belgian waffles);
A colorful ice cream dessert in the U.S. spirit of the eighties (the decade in which the series takes place, of course); a cocktail (without alcohol) from Nancy's Halloween party;
But it’s not just snacks waiting for “weird stuff” fans to frequent the cafe.
Visitors will also be able to purchase on-site merchandise, immortalize their visit at a photo booth and be impressed by creepy items and art exhibits like Demogorgon coming out the door;
A wall of Christmas lights of the Bayers family;
Eduardo's pizza deliveries;
And something called "The Burning Road to Hawkins" (the American town where most of the series takes place).
The main thing to have an appetite on the way to doom.
