Al-Hedmi warns of the danger of the occupation's plans to increase settlements in Jerusalem

Minister of Jerusalem Affairs Fadi al-Hadmi warned of the dangers of the Israeli occupation's plans to increase settlements and demolish Palestinian homes in occupied Jerusalem and the rest of the West Bank.

Wafa news agency quoted Al-Hedmi as saying that the occupation authorities escalated attempts to change the features of the Palestinian Arab face of the occupied city of Jerusalem through demolitions, forced displacement, acceleration of settlement, appropriation of Palestinian land and property, isolating Palestinian cities and towns from each other, targeting neighborhoods in the Holy City, in addition to settlers storming Al-Aqsa Mosque. Al-Mubarak, which is part of the process of Judaization.

Al-Hedmi pointed out that the continuation of the settlement plans of the Israeli occupation around the walls of occupied Jerusalem aims at imposing the siege on Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Holy City in an attempt to obliterate the Palestinian, Arab, Islamic and Christian identity of Jerusalem, leading to its Judaization.

Al-Hadmi called on the international community to assume its legal, humanitarian and moral responsibilities and to take effective measures to curb the Israeli occupation.
