Entrepreneurial women in the trades: New logo, proven management team

Erding - Claudia Beil founded the Entrepreneurs' Women in Crafts in Erding in 2004 and is still passionate about her office, which she will carry out for three more years.

The Erdinger working group of women entrepreneurs in the trades (UFH) wants to present itself as young, fresh and modern.

With a new logo, increased advertising in social networks and innovative ideas, even more members are to be recruited.

This goal was formulated at the annual general meeting on Monday in the AOK directorate.

In doing so, the UFH relies almost entirely on its tried and tested management team.

Claudia Beil remains chairwoman, her deputy is still called Christine Deischl.

There was a change in the third chair: Gerlinde Sigl handed over her post to Cornelia Klug.

Secretary Christine Gruber, cashier Claudia Wanderer, assessors Christine Hundschell, Christine Loidl and Sigl complement the board of directors.

Helene Barth is the cash auditor.

The 22 voters unanimously chose the women's team.

Three men were only allowed to get involved in the elections: AOK director Heinrich Hecht, Beil's husband Jürgen and district master craftsman Rudi Waxenberger.

They ran the elections.

Speaking of elections: Beil received a royal Bavarian piggy bank from Sigl as a gift for the election as state chairman.

"I haven't got that yet," said Beil, who is a passionate collector of Schweinderl souvenirs.

The Erdinger working group has 62 members – an increase of three women compared to the previous year.

"I'm glad that I have you," emphasized the district master craftsman Waxenberger and addressed the shortage of skilled workers.

"In Germany there is a shortage of around 250,000 skilled workers," said Waxenberger.

Broken down to the district of Erding, that means around 1,500 workers.

Waxenberger is convinced that this deficiency cannot be remedied by immigration alone.

Rather, the apprenticeship positions have to be filled in order to train the company's own staff.

But it is important that "only the elite go to high school and not someone with an average grade of 4.0," he said plainly.

On the other hand, he counts Beil among the elite in their offices.

"You have a figurehead at your head - Claudia," he said.

In 2004, Beil founded the Entrepreneurs' Women in Crafts in the district of Erding and is still passionate about her position, which she will continue to hold for three more years.

There was also rejuvenation from the two assessors Loidl and Hundschell.

"We need fresh blood," said Beil, laughing.

The UFH also want to show this with their new logo and slogan.

"Share experience, take the lead, be networked" is the motto with which you want to draw attention to yourself.

Independent of the federal association, Birgit John created a logo and slogan that she presented to the women.

A leaflet with space for twelve QR codes is also to be created.

If you scan them, you end up with a 20-second film,

in which the respective entrepreneur woman introduces herself.

This is the first new baby at UFH to be christened.

"We want to have 75 members in two years," John said.

Another topic that Beil wants to campaign for at state level is reducing bureaucracy.

She is in contact with Walter Nussl, the representative of the Bavarian state government.
