Yolanda K. from Leipzig has been missing since September 25, 2019.

In the ZDF special "Aktenzeichen XY...Missing" Rudi Cerne takes up the missing person case again.

Leipzig/Munich – The missing person case of Yolanda K. from Leipzig attracted nationwide attention.

That was more than two years ago now.

The police searched for the then 23-year-old with sniffer dogs, helicopters and divers.

There is still no trace of the young woman, but the search continues.

In the ZDF program "Aktenzeichen XY...Missing" presenter Rudi Cerne presented the missing person case on Wednesday evening.

The investigators are hoping for new clues.

"Aktenzeichen XY...Missing": Where is Yolanda K. from Leipzig?

Yolanda Klug (23)

has been

missing since September

25, 2019 .

On this day, the student left her shared apartment on Krönerstraße in Leipzig at around 2:15 p.m. to drive to a furniture center in Günthersdorf.

According to the police, a witness saw Yolanda K. shortly before she got off the bus.

After that, the 23-year-old wanted to meet up with a friend to go to Burg Giebichenstein in Halle, according to the police.

Together they wanted to visit the “autumn session” (university event) taking place there.

The meeting never happened.

However, the young woman, who was otherwise considered to be extremely reliable, neither contacted her friend nor returned to her shared apartment.

On the evening before she disappeared, Yolanda K. and her father visited a restaurant in the southern suburbs of Leipzig until around 10 p.m.

A tracking dog led the police to Giebichenstein Castle.

But one question remains unanswered for the investigators: Whether Yolanda actually attended the "autumn session" is uncertain.
