Fellowship evening for the Würmtal: Stockdorfer choose Christmas as the motto and set up oversized Santa Claus.

Stockdorf – Some of you may have already thought about it: The Stockdorf volunteer fire brigade gave their tool shed a truly Christmassy flair at the weekend: Christmas market stalls were there and a huge, inflatable Santa Claus.

what happened there?

The solution is actually quite simple: Once a year, all the fire brigades from the Würmtal meet for a camaraderie evening, as otherwise you only meet during operations, reports district fire chief Klaus Ringhoff from the Stockdorfer Wehr.

This was a tradition until the pandemic, after which there was a forced break - until last weekend, when it was the turn of the Stockdorfer Wehrmacht.

Every camaraderie evening has a motto, sometimes it was the Wiesn - and the people of Stockdorf thought, since the Christmas market was cancelled, Christmas is the right topic.

That's why the big Santa Claus and a Christmas tree.

Organized by the association and the active troupe, there was also a really Christmas program for the volunteers.

The Gautinger building yard had supplied stalls, and the firefighters borrowed the curling rink from the “Alten Wirt” in Krailling.

Santa Claus came and gave a corresponding speech.

Despite the heat, the mulled wine even found a few buyers.

The entertainment program included winter games, such as skiing with a group of people – the Neuried fire brigade won this, by the way.

Next year there will be another such camaraderie evening.
