The game will be a direct sequel to the game from 2018, and will place Kratos and his son Artéos against the Norse gods, Priya, Odin and Thor.

This is one of Sony's biggest titles and there is no PlayStation player that has not waited for the launch date, which fortunately is not far away.

Just over the past weekend there was a storm surrounding the game, with leaker Jason Schreier spreading the word that Santa Monica (game developer) would announce the game's release date on June 30th.

When that did not happen, many fans pointed the finger of blame at the company, which "hides information" from its players, who believed that the silence on Sony's part indicated a postponement of the game.

Some of the players showed us how dark the internet can be and went a little too far, which caused Corey Berlog, the previous game director, to answer the players on the networks and ask them to be patient.

Berlog tried to reassure the players and noted that the game was not postponed.
