Wartenberg – Markus Straßberger replaces Hermann Zoglauer as chairman of the Marie-Pettenbeck School development association.
There was a generation change at the annual general meeting.
Along with Zoglauer, who led the association for 13 years, almost all other members of the board of directors also made their positions available and were bid farewell by headmaster Michael Braun.
The election officer, Deputy Mayor Carla Marx, then identified the other offices as follows: Karen Lübbe (deputy chairperson), Micha Kronseder (secretary), Jessi Garay (treasurer), Lisa Neumeier, Tina Weber and Annette Ockert (assessors), Beate Stiglmayr and Ferenc Gyurica (auditors).
As he said, Michael Braun sweated blood and water and very much hoped that the association would continue.
The new chairman, Markus Straßberger, promised to continue the tried and tested and to build on it.
In the future, the funds will again flow into youth social work, grants for school trips and projects, such as 9100 euros (2018), 7900 euros (2019) and 4500 euros (2020) and 890 euros (2021) due to the pandemic.
