Barely a few months ago, Valérie Messika invited those who have always accompanied her to come and discover the revival of her first historic boutique on rue Saint-Honoré.
The path traveled since the founding of his eponymous brand was then obvious.
We still remember with emotion the surprise that resonated on Place Vendôme when the woman who had precisely wanted to open her case far from this seraglio announced in 2015 the opening of her integrated high jewelry workshop.
And yet, this step forward was not surprising for Valérie who always grew up in the footsteps of her father, André Messika, a famous dealer in precious stones, who always reserved for her vintages of white, yellow or even extraordinary roses.

If the stone merchants came very willingly to offer André Messika the best cut gems, there is a reserved area that still escaped him: that of rough diamonds.
Highly coveted and publicized size outlets that usually end up in the purse of a Graff, a De Beers or more recently a Louis Vuitton or a Van Cleef & Arpels, which moreover has designed part of its high jewelry collection this season around a 910-carat crude.
This was without taking into account the determination of Valérie's brother, Ivan Messika, who recently entered the battle.
His first victory at the start of 2020?
Nothing less than a 110 carat rough diamond from the famous Lucara mine in Botswana.
There followed a long work of approaching the stone, which he entrusted to experts from his city, Tel Aviv.
The result ?
Some fifteen exceptional diamonds, including a 33-carat oval-cut diamond, immediately inspired Valérie, who bought the entire lot from her brother.

Inspired by the charm of ancient Egypt and the strength of Cleopatra, Valérie Messika imagines a protective breastplate, lined with an architectural earring and ring, where some of these treasures of nature are enthroned. .
In particular the famous oval cut diamond which immediately attracts all eyes.
“I wanted to challenge myself by using 15 diamonds in the same set,” she underlines.
“This is a real high jewelry challenge.
Not all stones were the same size.
Some were very original with rather surprising more fancy shapes.
But sometimes from the unexpected, the most beautiful achievements are born.
A tailor-made creation therefore,
