After the global fast food chain closed its 850 branches in the country due to the war in Ukraine, Russia boasted an alternative, a new local chain called "Delicious and that's it" • But the Russians report bad tastes, shocking sanitation and this is just the beginning

Would you like a mold with your chips?

After McDonald's officially closed all 850 branches in Russia in May following its invasion of Ukraine and was replaced by a local chain called Vkusno & Tochka (delicious and that's it), alarming reports about the quality of food served at the chain are flooding the chain and it's anything but appetizing.

To date, there are about 50 branches throughout the country, which, although they have promised hungry customers to maintain the standards to which they are accustomed from the mother network, in practice the situation looks different.

The person who revealed the sanitary and culinary omission complained about by customers who dined at the chain's branches, is the politician and celebrity Ksenia Sobchak who shared on her telegram account pictures of burgers served in molds with mold and dishes that also come with a very non-appetizing insect leg.

"They do not really meet McDonald's standards," she wrote, "at least not when it comes to product quality control. Just today, three cases of molds with mold sold to customers were documented, two of them to my followers."

Sobchak continued to criticize the chain she promised with her entry into space that the popular food giant left to maintain McDonald's standards and even surpass them, writing: "Friends, it's time for you to understand. There is no need to poison people."

In addition to Sobchak's exposure, additional reports from critics who dined online revealed that the dishes served to diners come with minimal amounts of cheese on the cheeseburgers and that the chips served to diners are "sad" compared to those that came with the dish at McDonald's.

"I'd rather eat a carcass run over by the road," he responded with a subsequent disgust at the sight of the musty hamburger pictures.

"Apparently the big change with the network replacement is that they just decided to throw out the whole quality control thing," concluded a disappointed diner.
