The Norwegian authorities agreed to allow the passage of Russian goods through its borders in the Svalbard archipelago.
The Norwegian RNK channel reported, according to Russia Today, that the containers will be delivered first to the city of Tromsø and then to Svalbard.
Norway had rejected a Russian request on June 28 for goods to pass to Russian villages in Svalbard through the only crossing point on the Russian-Norwegian border at Storskog.
