A recent opinion poll in Turkey showed that the ruling Justice and Development Party headed by the President of the Turkish regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is no longer the first party in the country.
According to the Turkish newspaper Zaman, the poll conducted by the Unalam Research Institute showed that the Justice and Development Party ranked second with 22.5 percent of popular support, while the opposition Republican People's Party became the first with 23 percent.
The Good Party came in third place with 13.3 percent, followed by the Peoples' Democratic Party with 8.7 percent, then the Nationalist Movement Party, an ally of the ruling party with 6.8 percent of the vote. On the issue of Erdogan's re-election as president, 58 percent said they would not vote for him.
