The Ministry of Health confirmed the full readiness of hospitals and health centers to continue providing medical services to citizens during the Eid al-Adha holiday in various governorates.
The ministry said in a statement, which SANA received a copy of today, that the ambulance and emergency departments continue to work around the clock in hospitals to receive patients, in addition to the health centers on duty and the ambulance system in various governorates during the Eid al-Adha holiday.
The ministry indicated that it issued a circular to health directorates and hospitals of public bodies, stressing the need for specialists on duty to adhere to the actual presence in their departments and the readiness of care departments in hospitals and to provide them with all the required competencies and the implementation of the general emergency plan related to the work of ambulances and ambulance departments in hospitals so that all ambulances are on duty and in a state of readiness Perfect during the holidays.
In its circular, the Ministry stressed to ensure the spread of ambulances within the governorate with the required staff to meet emergency cases and call 110.
On the other hand, the Ministry called on citizens to strictly follow public health guidelines for a safe Eid holiday by applying precautionary measures to prevent the Corona virus, especially in closed places, such as wearing a mask, maintaining spatial distance and washing hands, in light of the high number of infections in neighboring countries, in addition To avoid direct exposure to sunlight, increase fluid intake, and not eat foods of unknown or suspected safety to prevent food poisoning.
The ministry requested caution in everything related to children's toys, follow-up and prior awareness of them to stay away from bead pistols and fireworks, noting that in the event of illness, it is necessary to rest at home, monitor symptoms, and seek early medical advice.
Yesterday, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers issued a communication to suspend public authorities from Saturday, 7-9-2022, until Thursday, 7-14-2022, on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha.
