Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan the implementation of the Tripartite Agreement to settle the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabakh region.
Russia Today quoted a Kremlin statement following the phone call that an exchange of views took place on ensuring security on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and restoring logistical and transport communications in the South Caucasus.
The statement added that Putin and Pashinyan continued to discuss practical aspects of the implementation of the tripartite agreements between the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan of the past two years on the implementation of the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement agreements.
