The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that the United States of America is intensifying its attempts to negatively affect the partnership between Russia and China, stressing that Washington's plans are doomed to failure.
"China is under severe pressure and it seems that those who practice it forget that they are talking with one of the major countries of the modern world," TASS news agency quoted Deputy Director of the Ministry's Information and Press Department Alexei Zaitsev as saying during a press conference today.
Zaitsev indicated that these actions are a clear example of Washington's plans to destroy the strategic partnership between Moscow and Beijing, stressing at the same time that American tactics are doomed to failure.
On April 12, the Chinese Foreign Ministry confirmed that the US administration is deliberately escalating the conflict in Ukraine with the aim of containing and besieging China and Russia.
