the outlines of the future presidential Renaissance party (ex-La République en Marche, LREM), calling for
“rediscovering the spirit of conquest of 2017”.
He declares himself
a "candidate"
to take the lead.

- Elisabeth Borne delivered her general policy statement on Wednesday, without asking for the confidence of the deputies.
Is it a refusal in front of the obstacle?
Stephane SEJOURNÉ.
- Nope.
This is not unheard of under the Fifth Republic.
It is the responsibility of the oppositions: if they had wanted a vote of confidence, they had to allow the constitution of a majority in the National Assembly.
But they refused their share of responsibility.
I regret it, and I notice that it does not happen like this anywhere else in Europe.
It is certainly not French culture, but the oppositions have lost a historic opportunity.
They may want to replay the presidential election...
