The designated direct candidates of the CSU in the district of Munich for the state elections can be sure of the support of the party's youngsters: The JU stands behind Maximilian Böltl and Kerstin Schreyer.
District
– The Junge Union München-Land has pledged its support to Kerstin Schreyer and Maximilian Böltl in the state election campaign.
District chairman Jan Kämmerer said: “Max Böltl is the right candidate for the state parliament for the north of the district.
He is a genuine JUler, has had great success as mayor in Kirchheim-Heimstetten, and stands for young, forward-looking politics.
That is why he is our candidate.”
According to a press release, there were also new elections at the district delegates' meeting in Ismaning.
Julia Beermann from Garching was elected as the new deputy after Theresa Gerhardt left Garching.
Florian Leeb from Pullach succeeds Florian Schulz as the new district treasurer, whom the delegates thanked with standing applause for his long service and awarded him honorary membership.
Alexander Löhrer from Neuried takes over the office of Würmtal representative.
"Shapes the CSU with young, modern ideas"
Programmatically, the delegates agreed that Ukraine should be given more support.
On the other hand, the delegates discussed controversially about a nationwide general compulsory service, on which they could not yet agree on a common position.
Last year, delegations of JU people from the district visited several state elections in Germany to get an idea of the campaigners from other JU associations and to network more closely nationwide.
"In the meantime, the district board under Jan Kämmerer has made a name for itself nationwide with its election campaign support," says the press release.
With the experience gained, the JU Munich-Land wants to contest upcoming election campaigns.
The delegates unanimously nominated Maximilian Böltl, who could not be there in person due to corona disease, as their candidate.
Kerstin Schreyer was also given support for her mandate in the state parliament: "Shapes the CSU with young, modern ideas," she motivated the Junge Union.
