Suspicion of nationalist background grows:

The Israeli police and the GSS arrested a Palestinian suspect in the attack on an Israeli citizen in Givat Shmuel yesterday (Tuesday), the publication was allowed. 

A 46-year-old Haredi man was injured by an Arab while walking on the Givat Shmuel bridge - his condition is serious but stable.

MDA medics and paramedics provided the wounded with medical treatment, and evacuated him to Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer.

According to him, a 47-year-old man was stabbed by an Arab and taken to the hospital // MDA

The wounded man is the father of six children, suffering from three fractures in his head.

His wife, Yael Dahan, said that her husband reported that the stabber had an Arab appearance, a short, light-colored shirt that escaped immediately after the attack.

"My husband went to pray in Givat Shmuel, got on the bridge and the man came in front of him, took something out of a bag and gave him strong blows to the head. The medical staff called me, I arrived immediately."

Prime Minister Yair Lapid said: "Sends a speedy recovery to the wounded who was stabbed this morning in Bnei Brak and strengthens his family.

"The security forces are working to find out the circumstances of the incident and are doing everything to prevent harm to civilians, to whom I am also sending reinforcements this morning - your efforts are saving lives."
