When a mainland husband visited his wife in Hong Kong, he suspected that he had bought too much fruit and too little pork.
The case resumed trial in the High Court today (6th), and the prosecution played a videotaped interview with the police after the defendant was arrested.
The defendant accused his wife of being irritable, the relationship between the two was not good, and they often quarreled over trivial matters.
Before the crime, he bought fruit according to his wife's instructions.
During the quarrel between the two, the defendant countered that his wife "trained with the same person, I am your husband, and I have nothing to teach you."
The king's last husband was in his 90s
The defendant Xiao Chunqiang (66), who came to Hong Kong with a two-way permit, revealed in a video interview that he was from Xingning, Meizhou, Guangdong, and his wife, Wang Fenggui, was from Hunan.
He met Wang in 1995, when Wang was working in a hair salon in Xingning that was run by a relative of the defendant, who was in charge of the salon for the relative.
Wang Qi came to Hong Kong and was married after his 90-year-old husband passed away.
The defendant married Wang Zaigang in 2017.
Wang has a hot temper and is on the edge
The defendant claimed that when he was in Hong Kong, he would live in the flat of Sheung Fu House, Upper Estate of Ngau Tau Kok, Wang Yu.
The defendant described that Wang's personality was irritable, the relationship between the two was not good, and they often chatted with each other.
On one occasion, the defendant quarreled with Wang and called the police.
The defendant also said that because Wang was "on the top", the two often chatted about trivial matters. If he didn't put things away, Wang would be dissatisfied, and the two would quarrel because of this.
The defendant said he was often scolded by Wang and his neighbors knew it.
But he stressed that the two people's quarrel was not for money, and he also gave money to the king.
Buying fruit as instructed to go home, but was reprimanded for buying too little meat
In November 2019, the defendant came to Hong Kong again.
Wang instructed him to buy fruit, but when the defendant returned home after buying fruit, Wang rebuked him: "If you buy too much fruit, just buy some pork." He also accused him of being wasteful.
The two had quarreled over this matter, and during the quarrel, the defendant rebuked Wang and others for "snoaking" and said, "You share the same feeling, I am your husband, and I have nothing to do with you, and you share the same sigh people."
Before the incident, he was scolded by Wang as a dead species
The night before the incident, on November 13, four of Wang's friends went to his unit to play sparrows.
The defendant and Wang did not play cards at the time, nor did they chat.
However, after the four left at 1:30 a.m. on the 14th, Wang called the defendant "X Street". The defendant asked what it meant, and Wang explained that it was "the dead seed".
