Showers and thunderstorms associated with southerly airstreams are affecting the coastal areas of South China.
The weather forecast for Hong Kong today is mainly cloudy with occasional showers and a few thunderstorms, with a maximum temperature of about 30 degrees and mild southerly winds.
Looking ahead, the weather will gradually improve in the next two to three days. The weather will be hot, but there will be showers in some areas.
The Transport Department said that the entire line of Caroline Hill Road (both direction) between Leighton Road and Cotton Road, which was closed earlier due to a burst water main, has now been lifted.
