The Russian Foreign Ministry considered that the United States is seeking to pressure China to destroy the strategic partnership between Moscow and Beijing, stressing that this is doomed to failure.

The TASS news agency quoted Deputy Director of the Ministry's Information and Press Department Alexei Zaitsev as telling reporters today: China is facing serious pressures, most of which are unofficial, and those who exercise it seem not to know that they are dealing with one of the greatest powers in the world.

Zaitsev pointed out that cooperation between Russia and China has reached an unprecedented level and is being successfully tested, and any attempts to destabilize it are doomed to failure, stressing that his country not only maintains a full political dialogue with China, but seeks to expand it to help adapt to global changes.

With regard to the Ukrainian crisis, Zaitsev noted that Western countries show through their actions their lack of interest in de-escalation in Ukraine and said: The West will not abandon the additional escalation line for the situation in Ukraine and this was also confirmed by the recent NATO summit, during which a decision was made on an additional support package for the regime. Kyiv.

He pointed out that these countries continue to supply arms on a large scale to Ukraine, adding that "more than 28 thousand tons of military equipment have been delivered."
