The redevelopment of the former supermarket area in the center of Tutzing continues to cause debates - the mayor is slowly having enough.

Tutzing

– The new development in the center of Tutzing is making progress, but there is still criticism.

With twelve against six votes, the municipal council approved the current plan conception on Tuesday.

On the site of the former supermarket, a building with two upper floors and an attic, as well as two front buildings, is planned that is set back from the main road, as well as another multi-storey building in the rear part of the property.

On July 28, Lydia Knözinger-Ehrl from the Planning Association of the Outer Economic Area wants to present the project-related development plan to the council - "a sporting goal," she said herself. The planning concept ranges from a children's playground to a sustainability concept with two certificates ("Cradle-to-Cradle ’ and ‘DGNB Quick Check’).

According to Knözinger, its liability could possibly be regulated in the implementation contract, she said when asked by Michael Ehgartner (Greens).

At the request of the municipal council, she had already incorporated various changes.

Balconies facing the main street are to be eliminated, with the exception of one on a bay window, and a roof terrace is to be made smaller.

The width of the dormers in the attic was also controversial.

They should be narrow, Dr.

Ernst Lindl (CSU) and Caroline Krug (ÖDP), while Dr.

Joachim Weber-Guskar (FDP) described slightly wider dormers as justifiable.

They should be 2.30 meters wide after a tight decision.

Several councilors expressed their satisfaction with the revised plan, according to Dr.

Wolfgang Behrens-Ramberg (Tutzinger List), Barbara Doll (UWG) and Bernd Pfitzner (Greens).

"It is not expedient to question everything again," warned Pfitzner.

On the other hand, Christine Nimbach (non-attached) criticized: "The building kills the neighboring building to the south." Mayor Marlene Greinwald did not like the choice of words "kills".

Regarding the size, she said: "You mustn't forget that we are in the middle of town." Existing building rights cannot simply be revoked.

Georg Schuster (FDP) disliked the bay window.

Greinwald replied that it was an express urban planning wish of the community.

Caroline Krug was surprised about a planned intermediate building with a transition from the front to the back building.

Otherwise, a minimum distance between separate buildings would have had to be maintained, said the planner.

Stefanie Knittl (SPD) inquired whether the towers of St. Joseph's Church could still be seen from Marienstrasse in the future, which according to earlier information should be the case.

Due to the critical comments, the mayor felt compelled to issue a warning.

The municipal council has already agreed to the basic concept: "We have to agree on what we want and not always start with Adam and Eve."
