This dégun, now fashionable, is used by different categories of society, from teenagers to politicians.
And, consecration, for a few years, it appears in the dictionary
Le Petit Robert
under the definition:
“Dégun, indefinite pronoun.
1964. Occitan word, alteration of the old
Occitan negun,
from the Latin
nec unus
(not one).
Southeast region, familiar.
Nobody, no human being.”
Of course, Dégun did not see the Pissagnelles (fairies) who by the hundred, by the thousand, by the hundred thousand watered the stake.
Dégun did not see the little animal either, which was hurrying slowly to get out from under the fagots.
